David's most recent paintings are about rocks, stones, paths and space. They embody ideas about life journeys, literal journeys and positive and negative space. His paintings are also about painting itself -- his use of colour, surface and positining has been developing over many years as a painter. David works in Adelaide and travels regularly in Australia and internationally. For the last couple of years David has been focusing his attention on Shanghai where he is a regular visitor.
