On behalf of the SALA Board, Staff and Volunteers, thank you for your support of South Australian visual artists and our proudly local community based visual arts festival held this year.
Over 24 days the 2011 SALA Festival captured the heart's and imagination of South Australia; providing a platform for 4,132 amateur, emerging and established visual artists to reach an audience that extended across 543 galleries, cafes, restaurants, wineries, retailers and many more unique and creative spaces throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia.
A FREE festival for audiences to view, SALA is a true statewide celebration of visual art culture that enriches our state. There is no other festival of this nature or scale in our country that engages with and fuses partnerships between visual artists, business and community.
Thank you to our South Australian visual artists for your outstanding contribution to provide us with a rich, colourful, thought provoking and diverse festival each year.
